At an anniversary show by ARD, Dieter Hallervorden performed his old “Palim Palim” sketch again-and said the N-word. It is actually not surprising.
Another older man who complains to an audience of millions, he should no longer say everything, but then does it. No, in this case we are not talking about Thomas Gottschalk, but from actor Dieter Hallervorden.
Dieter Hallervorden says discriminatory words
In an ARD anniversary show on Saturday evening, the actor had shown his legendary “Palim, Palim!” Sketch-in a slightly modified version, in which he used the “n-word” and the “Z-word”. The term “n-word” today describes a racist name for blacks that was previously used in Germany. The “Z-word” stands for a name for Sinti and Roma, which was also used earlier in Germany.
The staging of the sketch itself is also meaningful. In the program presented by Kai Pflaum, Hallervorden and actor Harald Effenberg performed the sketch in a stage version of a prison cell. Sitting in the bunk bed, Hallervorden’s figure tells the other inmate why he sits: because he used the names for chocolate and sauce of Hungarian. The intention and interpretation behind it are clear: Hallervorden, the victim of an alleged Woke culture.
Already read? This star research causes a sensation
Kaufland advertises with quality. But now cover star and RTL numerous grievances: mouse droppings in a baked goods department, overwhelmed cheese, faecal germs on chicken meat. Read the research “Inside Kaufland: the nasty truth about one of the biggest supermarket chains”. And you can see whether your Kaufland branch is affected.
The 89-year-old’s misstep is not really surprising. Hallervorden racism was already accused in 2012. In his play “I am not Rappaport”, a white player played the role of a black man. So -called “Blackfacing” in the Berlin Schlosspark Theater. In “black facing” white people with make -up represent themselves as black people. The outrage at the time was great. “In my thoughts, there is absolutely no space for racism,” Hallervorden said at the time. There was simply no black actor in the casting, said Hallervorden. “We did not want to look for a white for the role of 80-year-old Midge, but we searched for the best possible solution from the acting point of view. According to our research at the time, we said.
He said the “Mohrenstrasse”
A few years later, the “honey in the head” star was again at the center of a discussion. In 2015 he was part of an action in which prominent various subway stations announced in Berlin. Hallervorden was hired for the “Mohrenstraße” station. At that time, Christian Kopp from the “Berlin Postcolonial” association in the “Tagesspiegel” with regard to the incident of 2012: “Should the Black Community Berlin be provoked, or why is this questionable comedian selecting the colonial -racist ward name?”
But it wasn’t just with the Black Community. In April last year he presented a poem that he had written with the left-wing politician Dieter Dehm. In “Gaza Gaza” he used anti -Semitic narratives, mentioned, among other things, the “power that creates the beasts from cold calculation”. In the video for the song, he showed propagandavideos of the Hamas and excerpts from the Qatarian news channel al-Jazera, among other things.
In the meantime, Hallervorden has commented on his controversial appearance in ARD. “Woke people of today try anxiously not to dance out of line, meticulously follow all social media bids in order not to risk likes and no longer understand satire because satire is no longer occurring for fear of misunderstandings,” he said. Hallervorden remains unreasonable.
