Where to recover children from superstars? On a hiking tour in the lonely mountains – this was now shown by Carys Zeta Douglas.
The children of Catherine Zeta-Jones (55) and Michael Douglas (80) are apparently a heart and a soul. Daughter Carys (21) and son Dylan (24) get along so well that they went together on a hiking tour. Carys Zeta Douglas shared recordings of their special vacation on her Instagram account.
The siblings enjoyed the calm in the mountains away from Hollywood
With them she looks back on a journey of the brother sister duo to Patagonia at the end of 2024. “More moments from this magical place,” she wrote about several photos of the trip. Together with your brother, you show photos with your brother, you alone with your backpack and Dylan while resting in a hut.
In addition to the obvious passion for mountains and nature, the siblings also combine the acting. Both strut to film like their parents. In the short film “F*ck That Guy”, Carys took over her first leading role, as proud of in autumn 2024. In addition, she studies film and international relationships at the renowned Brown University in Rhode Island.
Michael Douglas shared snapshots from the campus in October when he visited his daughter there. “I had the best time with you, Dadda,” she replied.
Michael Douglas warned his daughter of acting career
As early as 2021, Catherine Zeta-Jones revealed that both children wanted to step into their parents’ footsteps. “Her love for acting is so strong that her passion for acting applies, even if you deal with politics and history at school,” she said at the time in the “Drew Barrymore Show”. Her husband addressed warning words to her daughter. Especially at the beginning of her career, she had to buy a thick fur and be aware of the fact that many would only perceive them as “the daughter of …”.
But the 21-year-old probably does not want to be stopped by such “Nepo-Baby” criticism. Catherine Zeta-Jones revealed what her daughter replied to the deterrent: “No, I’m sorry, I want to do it anyway.”
