Separation from Steve Guttenberg and his wife Emily Smith: The “Police Academy” star submitted the divorce.
Actor Steve Guttenberg (66) wants to divorce his wife Emily Smith after six years of marriage. As, among other things, the “Police Academy” star submitted the divorce at the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles on April 4 and therefore leads “insurmountable differences” as a reason.
Guttenberg had therefore agreed to pay spouse support to Smith, whereby the exact separation date still had to be determined. As “People” is going on from the court documents, the couple had a marriage contract that regulates the division of property and obligations. Both should pay for the legal fees.

Steve Guttenberg and the 19 -year -old television report Smith married Malibu in California in 2019 after getting to know a blind date a few years earlier and engaged to Christmas 2016.
In 2017, the actor Smith described as “the right one” and emphasized that she made him a better person. It was the second marriage for Guttenberg, the actor was married to actress Denise Bixler from 1988 to 1992.

At the beginning of this year, the “Three Men, another Baby” actor drew attention to himself during the fire disaster in and around Los Angeles with his own aid campaign. Guttenberg had not left his neighborhood Pacific Palisades, who was seriously affected by the fire, and helped the emergency services to drive away cars and thus clear the road.
In addition, together with neighbors, he provided and distributed food, heating equipment, water and other vital objects. Guttenberg’s own house was spared from the devastating fire.
