Prince Harry is once again for a court appointment in London. That’s what the hearing is about.
While King Charles III. On Monday to visit Italy on Monday, his son Prince Harry returned to Great Britain at the same time – but not to visit the family, but for a two -day hearing from the London Court of Appeal. The 40-year-old ended up in the British capital on Sunday. It is not known whether he could still meet his father.
The focus of his visit is again the legal dispute with the British government. The question is whether despite their retreat from the narrower circle of working royals, he is entitled to continued state -financed police protection during stays in the United Kingdom.

In February 2024, Prince Harry lost the trial of the High Court, but a judge allowed him to appeal. If three judges from the London Court of Appeal will listen to the arguments of Harry’s lawyers, according to which the decision to remove protection violates the official directive. Part of the negotiation will therefore take place under the exclusion of the public, since the evidence is sensitive security procedures.
What’s next with the lawsuit?
There is now a two -day hearing in London. After the end on Wednesday, the judges of the Court of Appeal, according to the New York Times, could announce their judgment on the same day or alternatively reserve a judgment, so advise even longer before they announced a decision.
