Princess Kate: Family appearance planned on a special day

Princess Kate (43) could soon make a public appearance with her whole family. Together with Prince William (42), the common children Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (9) and Prince Louis (6) and King Charles III. (76) and Queen Camilla (77) will show up on the balcony of the Buckingham palace. Other family members such as Princess Anne (74) have also been announced.

The occasion is the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. The so-called VE-Day or “Victory in Europe” Day is reminiscent of May 8, 1945. Around the day there should be four days of commemoration in Great Britain. The celebrations are to begin on May 5 and first celebrate with the appearance of the Royals.

“His majesty wants to bring his family and the country together in honor of the British deaths and revive the sense of community that was accompanied by the celebrations for the VE-Day,” said a source to the “Daily Mirror”.

The British Royals will therefore attend a military procession from Whitehall to the Buckingham Palace. Afterwards, a flight over current and historical aircraft and a Red Arrows flight show in the center of London is planned. The parade leads past the balcony of the Buckingham Palace, on which Prime Minister Winston Churchill (1874-1965) gave his speech to victory in Europe on May 8, 1945 in the presence of the royal family.

There are other important family dates for the Royals from the end of April to early May: on April 23, Prince Louis celebrates his seventh birthday, and his sister will be ten years old on May 2.

Kate, whose cancer is in remission, has recently returned to public obligations.
