A busy day is behind the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. In Rome she met the Jordanian Queen Rania.
The Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni (48) met two majesties on April 9 in Rome. After the British King Charles III. (76) Meloni also welcomed Queen Rania of Jordan (54) a few hours later in front of Villa Doria Pamphilj, as photos of the encounter show. The two women exchanged, among other things, about the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

“At the meeting, the excellent bilateral cooperation between Italy and Jordan was highlighted, including in the areas of education as well as family and child protection, in which Queen Rania started numerous initiatives at national and global level,” says the government.
Queen Rania, who appeared in an aubergine -colored maxi dress on the hip and shoulder on the state visit, also shared a picture of the event. She spoke to Meloni about the “humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza”.
A few hours earlier, Meloni met with Charles at the Italian seat of the government. The monarch was welcomed with all the protocol honor. In front of the historical villa there was an honorary guard who inspected the king before his conversation with the politician. The meeting takes place as part of a four-day trip to Italy that leads Charles and Queen Camilla (77) to Rome and the city of Ravenna.
It is planned that King Charles III. The first British monarch will speak in front of both houses of the Italian parliament – the Chamber of Deputy and the Senate of the Republic. This honor underlines the close connection between the United Kingdom and Italy despite the changed political landscape after the Brexit.
