Upcoming divorce? Barack Obama’s wife Michelle has recently given a clear removal.
Donald Trump (78), not only at the funeral of ex-President Jimmy Carter (1924-2024), the former US President Barack Obama (63) appeared solo at the beginning of the year. Rumors quickly made the round that his marriage to Michelle Obama (61) would be in crisis. The former first lady now gave such speculations a clear removal. She only “decided to do what was best for me,” she revealed at a podcast appearance.
Michelle Obama simply made a decision for himself
Michelle Obama revealed her conscious decision to stay away from the two occasions mentioned. At the age of 61, they ask themselves how: “Who do I really want to be, every day […]? So who do I want to eat with lunch? How long do I want to stay in one place? Do I want to travel? “
But such decisions would be interpreted in a special way. “And that is what we have to fight as women – to disappoint people,” she continued. “So much that people couldn’t even understand that I made a decision for myself that they had to assume that my husband and I divorce.”

If personal decisions would not fit social expectations, “then it will be stamped as something negative and terrible,” explains Obama. “I decided to do what was best for me, not what I had to do, not what others wanted from me, and entirely below us, that was an important test for me as a woman as an independent person.”
Michelle Obama’s husband Barack, however, only revealed a few days ago that he was in a “big deficit” during his presidency in marriage. In the years since leaving the Oval Office, he had therefore tried to make up for a lot, said the 63-year-old. He tried to overcome the ditch by doing “occasionally fun things”.
