Prince William is a passionate fan of Aston Villa. Of course, he was not allowed to miss the historical game in Paris – and had his son in tow.
Sometimes the royals are (almost) normal people. All over the world, fathers take their sons to play their favorite club to spend nice hours together – and possibly also introduce the offspring to the “right” football club.
Prince William is no exception. The heir to the throne visited the Champions League quarter-finals between Paris St. Germain and Aston Villa in the French capital on Wednesday evening. He had his eldest son George with him. William is a passionate supporter of Aston Villa, but did not experience a nice evening purely football. In the 1: 3 defeat you could see how the prince and his son led in the stands.

First the team from England took the lead, but then the PSG starring ensemble showed the better individual quality and turned the game.
Before the game, William had revealed on English television that he attached great importance to such excursions with his son. “I want George to experience an evening in a big competition. It is really important to create such memories and it is important to take him there,” said the 42-year-old to the former English international and today’s TV expert Rio Ferdinand.
Prince William always wears the same: the clocks of the British Royals
Prince William is a loyal soul. Compared to other members of his family, you can see him extremely often with a clock, but also just one. Because William always wears the same watch, although the world would be open to him. It is an Omega Seamaster Professional 300m with quartzwerk. The diving watch is traded at prices from 2000 to 3000 euros. However, she should be priceless for William – because he allegedly got the clock from his mother Diana when he went to the Eton College.

Prince George, now eleven years old, also makes sympathy for Aston Villa if you can believe his father. “I have two more children who are sitting in front of the TV at home. Let’s see who they will support,” said William. Aston Villa is back in the quarter -finals of the Champions League for the first time in 43 years – a big day for fans of the “villains” and also for the prince.
Recently, William had told how superstitious he is at the games of his favorite club: “If things don’t go well, run around the house pretty quickly and put the children in different positions in the hope that we will do luck.” He also regularly posts in fan forums: “I can stay there forever. I listen to what other fans have to say and say my opinion.”
