Netflix He released a new video of The Eternalutathis time it is an advance in which you can see and listen to the protagonists to explain how it was adapting this graphic novel to take it to the screen. The series is the first audiovisual adaptation of the iconic Argentine science fiction graphic novel by Héctor G. Oesterheld, illustrated by Francisco Solano López, first published in 1957.
Directed by Bruno Stagnaro and starring Ricardo DarínThe first season of El Eternalauta will premiere globally on April 30 (it will consist of six episodes).

Bruno Stagnaro, who was responsible for adapting the version to today’s reality, but without losing the spirit, declared in the video shared by Netflix: “The biggest challenge of adaptation was to keep the spirit well from the floor of some types that are living an extraordinary story, but in the corner of their house”.
For his part, Ricardo Darín is confident that the project will be a success: “It is a very Argentine science fiction story and I think it is very remarkable. The series is going to talk“
“Giving the size in what this new version proposes is a challenge, Buenos Aires in the middle of summer, a snow appears that if it touches you kills you,” says Darín’s off voice during the video. “They decide to choose one of the group and build a suit that is functional enough to avoid contact with snow.”
Ariel Staltariscreenwriter and actor, added that the most important challenge they faced as authors was to try to respect the spirit of the work and give this new world a likelihood so that it is not outdated with the time in which it was written: “It is a survival, but from a perspective of normal people, not people who were predestined to be a hero. That gives them a very close anchor”.
For its part, Martin Oesterheld -Cineasta and Nieto de Héctor- is the creative consultant of the series and briefly told about the plot that follows Juan Salvo, a man who together with his friends faces a desperate struggle for survival: “The eternalauta is a kind of epic of the common man and has to establish himself in the most elementary things of the human.”
In addition to Darin’s leading, the iconic cartoon has a cast composed of Carla Peterson, César Troncoso, Andrea Pietra, Ariel Staltari, Marcelo Subiotto, Claudio Martínez Bel, Orianna Cárdenas and Mora Fiszamong other actors.
The Eternaluta will premiere globally on April 30 in Netflix.
