People: Autumn: Skin from Stromberg was like a glove

Despite a long break, “Stromberg” star Christoph Maria Herbst has easily slipped back into his figure for the new film. “Sure, you never completely remove such a figure as Bernd Stromberg,” said the 59-year-old Cologne-based company an interview with the industry service DWDL.de. “So it is not the case that I had to take a workshop before our shoots to spread Bernd Stromberg’s skin again. “Class trip in the time machine”

Autumn was once suddenly famous for Bernd Stromberg – a prototype of the unpleasant boss. The comedy show “Stromberg” ran from 2004 to 2012. At the end of 2024, the producers surprisingly announced a comeback from the cult figure.

The actor said about the filming: “It was really amazing, and then I speak – I think – for all of us, how easy to call up our characters were after such a long break. What of course helps a lot are costume and mask.”

The first day of shooting was like a “school trip in the time machine”, according to the main actor of the successful office comedy. “We were there and thought: But there have not been ten years since the last time? It is really Weird (German: strange), but: life -believed life longer! In the flow of this energy we turned everything.”

The cinema release of “Stromberg – The New Film” is planned for December 2025. “So the comeback does not come out of nowhere, because” Stromberg “had a certain presence everywhere over the years,” said Herbst. “The pandemic helped when streaming without end.”

In the Corona period, autumn had supported the campaign for vaccinations. “The vaccination spots at the time, yes they were a bit the antipasto. Now we serve Primo Piatto – and then let’s see what’s coming,” he said with a view to the Italian menu sequence with starter and the first main course.
