Sean “Diddy” Combs: Musikmogul advocates not guilty

The American music producer and entrepreneur Sean “Diddy” Combs has pleaded “not guilty” in the course of the ongoing investigation against him. The 54-year-old is accused of sexual coercion, bodily harm, drug abuse and presumed human trafficking. According to court documents, the allegations come back to the 1990s, according to court documents.

Combs denies all accusations. “Mr. Combs will vigorously defend himself against the accusations made,” said his attendant team. It is assumed that the allegations would turn out to be unfounded. In one of the cases under oath, Combs was asked about alleged attacks and violent behavior. The statements concern both private and business relationships with several women.

In the past few weeks there have been several house searches in Combs’ property in Los Angeles and Miami. The US federal police FBI confiscated electronic devices and documents as part of the investigation. These searches are also related to a far -reaching examination for alleged human trafficking and severe sexual abuse. The investigations are therefore accompanied by a federal jury.

Public attention around the case is enormous. So far, numerous prominent personalities have been cautious, while speculations and conjectures are circulating on social networks. According to the US media reports, some business partners are said to have already put cooperation with Combs on hold.

Sean Combs is considered one of the most influential personalities in the US entertainment industry. With his label Bad Boy Records, he significantly shaped the hip-hop in the 1990s and since then has expanded his company into one billion-dollar empire-with investments in fashion, alcoholic, media and technology.

An appointment for a possible start of the process has not yet been determined. The investigation continues.
