Lil NAS X worries his fans with a video from the hospital in which he has lost control of his facial muscles.
With an alarming video from the hospital bed, rapper Lil NAS X (26) made his fans worry. shows the “Old Town Road” interpreter that he can no longer move the right side of his face.
“This is my best smile right now,” says the musician in the video as he tries to grin and take the jaw. “What the hell? Man, I can’t even laugh really.” The 26-year-old, who can be seen in a hospital coat and a colorful of Dutch cap, looks significantly concerned about his condition.
Under the clip, which he lost in the words “had lost control of the right side of my face”, numerous fans and prominent friends express their concern. Actress Taraji P. Henson writes: “Get healthy, baby” while comedian Wanda Sykes comments: “Get healthy, darling. Sometimes your body tells you that you should rest. Rest.”
Rapper gives the all -clear
Shortly after the troubling post, the musician reports with further updates on his Instagram page. In a story he gives a closer look at both sides of his face and tries to take the situation with humor: “” Everything is normal here. And here it gets crazy, “he jokes as he demonstrates the differences in his facial expressions.
In order to calm his concerned fans, Lil Nas X a little later shared a message in which he writes: “People, I’m fine !! Stop being sad for my sake!” He adds humorously: “Better dance to me!” He also shares a selfie from the hospital with the remark: “I will look funny for a little while, but that’s it.”
So far, the rapper has not announced what exactly the facial paralysis caused.
Lil NAS X fights for personal freedom
Lil NAS X, bourgeois Montero Lamar Hill, became known in 2019 with his country rap song “Old Town Road” worldwide. Since then he has been one of the few openly homosexual artists in the rap scene and has often used his platform to talk about personal freedom and self-acceptance.
