The Courtney Henggeler, known from “The Big Bang Theory” and “Cobra Kai”, ends her career. She justified her decision on the Internet.
She played the sister of Sheldon Cooper in the cultsitom “The Big Bang Theory” and the wife of Daniel Larusso in the Netflix hit “Cobra Kai”. But after over twenty years in business, Courtney Henggeler has enough. The actress hangs up her acting career.
In a detailed statement, she justifies her decision. She no longer feels like being “just a cog in the gear of the machine” – she finally wanted to “be the machine”.
She has had enough of the constant “tapping” just to get a job – and of the whole effort, just to say the word “sorry” in “Dr. House” what was actually her only line in the successful series. She no longer wants to be the “recurring guest star that never appears again”.
Courtney Henggeler: “What if we were the gauntlet run?”
For years she had ignored the “voices in her head” to throw everything down. But now she has had enough of the “gauntlet run”. “What once felt like necessary, as something that I willingly participated, even celebrated, became a fight,” she writes.
“What if we never had to do the gauntlet again?” She asks. “What if we were the gauntlet run?” However, what exactly you intend to do with this newly gained freedom leaves you open.

Breaking bathroom
For many, it is the best series of all time and undoubtedly a prime example of the golden television age: “Breaking Bad” tells the story of the steady chemistry teacher Walter White (Bryan Cranston), who falls ill between 2008 and 2013, and so to finance his costly therapy, he provides with the small criminal Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) Crystal Meth – and rises to one of the most powerful drug producers in the region.

Further
Courtney Henggeler started her acting career in 2003. In 2008 she played in an episode of “The Big Bang Theory” Sheldon’s unequal twin sister. But even after the guest appearance in the cult series, the big roles failed to materialize. It was not until 2018 for an episode for “The Big Bang Theory”. She also landed her biggest job in 2018. By 2025 she embodied the wife of main character Daniel Larusso in the “Karate Kid” offshoot “Cobra Kai”.
