She probably copied the elegance with her mother Mary: Princess Isabella made an eye-catcher appearance in Copenhagen.
The Danish Princess Isabella will be 18 on April 21 – but has been celebrating for days. On April 15, a glamorous concert took place in the Royal Theater in Copenhagen. And the soon -to -face birthday child outshone all in a glittering evening robe.
Isabella was almost the ball queen: she chose a long, navy blue tulle dress with silver embroidery on her back for the big evening. She had elegantly put her long brown hair together.
Grandmother Margrethe II also beamed with Isabella
The 17-year-old was supported by her whole family. Her younger sister, Princess Josephine (14), was wearing a blue overall with sequin cape sleeves, while Queen Mary (53) also looked very elegant in a shoulder-free top with a decorated skirt. King Frederik (56) and his sons, Crown Prince Christian (19) and Prince Vincent (14), appeared in tuxedo.
The sons of Prince Joachim, Count Felix and Count Nikolai, and Queen Mary’s sister, Jane Stephens were also present. And also Isabella’s grandmother, the former monarchy Margrethe II. The queen, who kept her title after her abdication in early 2024, appeared in a purple dress and with a Krückstock.
Cards were raffled off to young people
The royal family emphasized. To many recordings, it was said on the official Instagram account: “Young people from all over the kingdom took part in a festive evening with classic and modern elements.” The Danish royal family had organized the birthday performance in cooperation with the theater. More than 1,000 young people between the ages of 17 and 24 from all over Denmark as well as the associated territories Faroe Islands and Greenland won the cards via a lottery. The Danish broadcasting transfer the event.
The celebrations for Isabella’s 18th birthday were heralded on April 11th. Local youth organizations organized a musical-artistic event in the town hall in Aarhus.
Princess Isabella is the second oldest daughter of the royal couple and, according to her older brother Crown Prince Christian, stands in the second place of the Danish succession, in front of her younger siblings, the twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine. The 18th birthday of Crown Prince Christian in October 2023 was celebrated – with a glamorous gala dinner in the Christiansborg Palace.
