Lionsgate revealed the first photo of the three times nominated for an Oscar, Johnny Deppin Day Drinkerhis reunion with Penelope Cruz.
The cameras are recording in Spain the film directed by Marc Webbwhich has incorporated four new actors into the cast: Manu Ríos, Arón Piper, Juan Diego Botto and Anika Boyle.

Day Drinker Tell the story of the waitress of a private yacht (Madelyn Cline) that meets a mysterious host on board (DEPP). They are soon involved in a relationship with a criminal (Cruz) and connect in unexpected ways. The project represents the fourth time Depp and Cruz star together a movie after Blow, Pirates of the Caribbean: sailing in mysterious waters and murder in the East Express.

Day Drinker is a production of Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, by Thunder Road, who produce the franchise John Wick for Lionsgate; Adam Kolbrenner, producer of The Tomorrow War, Free Guy and Prisoners; and Zach Dean, who wrote the original script of the film. Kolbrenner’s movie and Dean, The Gorge, recently premiered on Apple TV+/Skydance.
Day Drinker is an executive production of 30West. Lionsgate will present Day Drinker in collaboration with 30West. The film is a production of Thunder Road/in.2.
Executive producers also include Dan Friedkin, Micah Green, Daniel Steinman, Stephen Deuters, Jason form, Sam Sarkar, Webb, Eric Sherman, Sarah Hong, Scott Lastaiti, Christopher Woodrow, Connor Digregorio and Adrián Guerra.
