Martin Lawrence celebrates its 60th birthday: Will Smith congratulates with funny posting

The actor and comedian Martin Lawrence will be 60 years old this Wednesday, April 16. Friends and fellow actors Will Smith (56) congratulated him on Instagram. “Happy birthday Marty Mar,” he wrote to a special picture and added a smiley: “You don’t look a day older than 70.” The snapshot apparently shows the two on the film set.

While Smith is wearing a red jogging suit, Martin Lawrence has a costume with a long beard and beige. He is said to have worn this at the post-credit scene of “Bad Boys 4”. Both actors pose arm in arm in the photo and with a smile for the memory picture.

The Marcus Burnett actor Martin Lawrence became known alongside Will Smith, who plays Mike Lowrey, through the “Bad Boys” action film series. This started in 1995 with “Bad Boys – hard guys”. This was followed by the sequels “Bad Boys II” (2003) and “Bad Boys for Life” (2020). In 2024 part four finally followed, “Bad Boys: Ride or die”.

“I’m now at this point – I did everything,” said Martin Lawrence with regard to his milestone birthday. The father of three daughters added: “Now it’s all about enjoying the fruits of my work, doing what I want to do and spreading love.”
