Almost two months after the sudden death of the US actress Michelle Trachtenberg, the cause of death became known. According to New York forensic medicine, Trachtenberg died of complications from diabetes mellitus. The authority spoke of a natural death. The 39-year-old was found dead in her apartment in New York on February 26.
Family of Michelle Trachtenberg refused an autopsy first
The authority initially classified the death as “unclear”. According to US media reports, Trachtenberg’s family rejected an autopsy. A laboratory finding has now determined the cause, it said.
