How much did the missed Oscar Demi Moore hit the heart? Many fans wondered about the bankruptcy. Now the star gave information about it.
Around a month and a half after the 97th awarding of the Academy Awards in early March, Demi Moore (62) commented on the moment, which was perceived by many spectators as a bitter disappointment. Many fans of the 62-year-old caught the fact that the “The Substance” star was named the best leading actress, but “Anora” actress Mikey Madison (26). However, Moore himself did not afford it, as she was in a detailed one.
So she even had the premonition that newcomer Madison would take the Oscar home with her: “I leaned over to my manager and whispered: ‘I think Mikey will win.'” She couldn’t say exactly where she got it from – “But I did it. I was so centered.
She showed herself as a fair loser
Shortly after the Oscar ceremony, Moore had shown herself as a fair loser on social networks. On Instagram, the actress shared a video assembly of backstage moments of the Oscar night and wrote: “After these Awards Season approaches, I am so overwhelmed by gratitude for this trip. It was the journey of my life and we are just starting.” She pushed to the winner: “A great congratulations to Mikey Madison – I’m excited to see what you do next.”
Moore had previously been awarded the Golden Globe Awards, the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the Critics Choice Awards for their haunting performance in the body horror strip of Coralie Fargeeat. For many industry experts, she was therefore a favorite in the race for the gold boys. So far, it has been Moore’s only nomination for an Academy Award.
