Michael J. Fox and Sheryl Crow: Joint appearance against Parkinson’s

As in the previous year, Michael J. Fox (63), who suffered from Parkinson, invited to a donation gala in favor of his Foundation for Parkinson’s research. And as in 2024, the stars were diligently accepted by his invitation. This is demonstrated by pictures of the red carpet, which was created as part of the event called “A Country Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson’s”.

A particularly warm picture was created by Fox and the singer Sheryl Crow (63). The two have connected an intimate friendship for many years. Already at Fox ‘Foundation’s benefit events, Crow was a reliable colleague, around 2019 at the “A Funny Thing on the Way to Cure Parkinson’s” gala in New York City or a similar event with Beatles-Motto in 2006.

At the recent edition of the event of April 16, Fox was provided on the red carpet a chair on which he sat down in the meantime while pisting for the photographers. There were also several photos with crow, on which she turns down to him and the two put their heads together.

Country size Christopher “Chris” Stapleton and the Country band Little Big Town, which comes from Alabama, included the motto of the evening, true to the motto of the evening. The comedic entertainment meanwhile got stand-up comedian Dusty Slay. Fox also posed on the red carpet for a common group picture with the star acts of the evening.

Shortly after he made his Parkinson’s disease public over 25 years ago, the “Back to the Future” star had launched Michael J. Fox Foundation in May 2000. Since then, the organization has been able to collect over two billion US dollars for its “only, urgent goal of eliminating Parkinson’s disease”.
