The “boys” were probably meant by the couple’s dogs, which he also mentioned in another note. Here he also wished his “enchanting girl” a good morning and explained that he was thinking of her “and the other little boys”. He also seemed to address his illness indirectly. “I go to the building behind the hot water point, where you sit and do whatever people in such a building should do – maybe I remember when I’m down there,” noted the late acting star, who on the piece with a “in love, how was his name again?” signed.

As recently reported, Hackman and Arakawa, who have been married since 1991, have been buried in the presence of his son Christopher as well as his daughters Elizabeth and Leslie as part of a private funeral service. The couple’s corpses were found on February 26th in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
