Turn project: Sandra Hüller with Colman Domingo in “True-ISH” satire

Actress Sandra Hüller (46, “Anatomy of a case”) should step in front of the camera for a satire drama together with Colman Domingo (55, “Rustin”, “Sing Sing”). The production company Causeway Films announced the project entitled “True ISH” under the direction of the Macedonian-Australian filmmaker Goran Stolevski. It is scheduled to be presented at the Film Festival in Cannes potential buyers. The start of the shooting was planned in Eastern Europe in early 2026.

Hüller is supposed to play an unscrupulous PR manager known for dirt campaigns. After an incident, she is transferred from New York to the Balkans to work there for a “peace laboratory”, which is honored at first glance, as the industry sheet “Variety” reports on the film act. In fact, however, it should spread fake news and aim at political marginalized groups in the European Union via the fake news.

In 2024, Hüller was nominated for an Oscar with her role in the French judicial drama “Anatomy of a case”. She also played in the British drama “The Zone of Interest”, which won the Oscar in the “Best International Film” category.

The actress, born in Suhl, then made a still titled film with Hollywood star Tom Cruise under the direction of Mexican Alejandro González Iñárritu, which is due to come to the cinemas in autumn 2026. A joint project with Ryan Gosling, the science fiction film “Project Hail Mary”, has been announced in cinemas for March next year.
