Emma Heming Willis (46), the wife of the actor Bruce Willis (70) suffering from dementia, presented the cover of her first book on Instagram. The guide on dealing with dementia patients is entitled “The Unexpected Journey” (the unexpected trip) and has a photo of the couple on the cover.

With the book, the ex-model wants to help other nurses to master this journey with strength, hope and courage, writes Heming Willis. She herself could have needed such a guide when the diagnosis came at the time and she herself was very rigid “with fear and uncertainty”. The book is scheduled to appear in September.

In 2022, the family announced that Willis would withdraw from the film business due to illness. He initially suffered from aphasia that affects his cognitive skills. In 2023 there was a more precise diagnosis – it is a frontotemporal dementia, in which nerve cells are initially broken down in the brain’s forehead and temporal area, a rare, quickly progressive and non -curable disease.

Willis has been married to the British native since 2009. Your two daughters are 13 and 10 years old. The adult daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah come from his first marriage to actress Demi Moore. The two families are closely linked. They post photos of celebrations and visit together.
