Victoria Swarovski describes her start as “Let’s Dance” presenter as “Super-Gau”. She had “Bammel” before the other shows.
Victoria Swarovski has been moderating with Daniel Hartwich “Let’s Dance” since 2018. But at the beginning there was criticism of the Austrian. In an interview with the magazine “Glamor”, she looked back at her difficult start.
Victoria Swarovski had “neatly bamble”
“It was the Super-Gau. I made a lot of mistakes, but ultimately learned from them. That is part of it.” After the first edition of the first edition, it was “honestly torn in the media”. At that time she thought: “That’s it. Everything I built up is destroyed because of a single moderation.” At the age of 24, she had “a lot of jitters in front of it” to “moderate the show for the next 14 weeks”. Today, at 31, she sees it more relaxed.
However, giving up was never an option. And so she is now confident: “In the meantime I am moderating ‘Let’s Dance’ for eight years – longer than any other moderator in front of me. ‘I also moderated the super talent’ for three years. I am very proud of that.”
Entry into the Swarovski group? “I never say”
In the title interview, she can also look back on her childhood as a sprout of one of the best-known dynasties in Austria. “I grew up like every normal child, albeit pronounced.” For example, with the neighboring children, she “went to school by bus and train and back”.
Victoria Swarovski never just wanted to get into her family’s jewelry empire. She wanted to be independent and her own boss. However, she does not exclude a future in the Swarovski company. “I never say. Who knows what’s in 20 years?” But despite her name, she couldn’t “simply take away the position of another person that I want to hold”.
Sieg at “Let’s Dance” gave the starting shot for her TV career
The 31-year-old initially started a career as a singer. In 2016 she won the ninth season “Let’s Dance” with professional dancer Erich Klann – the start for her further way on TV. In the same year she was sitting on the RTL casting show “Das Supertalent”. In 2018 she replaced Sylvie Meis as “Let’s Dance” presenter. In 2020, as a co-moderator of Daniel Hartwich, she returned to “Das Supertalent”.
It currently stands in front of the live camera for the 18th season “Let’s Dance”. On Good Friday, April 18, the dance show pauses because of the holiday. Instead, RTL from 8:15 p.m. the special “Let’s Dance – the 25 most popular stars ever”.
