New picture for 9th birthday
Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia have published a photo of their eldest son. Prince Alexander turned nine years old.
The Swedish Royals celebrate a birthday child on April 19. Prince Carl Philip (45) and Princess Sofia (40) shared a photo of her first son on Instagram. “Today we celebrate our wonderful joy donor Alexander, who will be nine years old,” they write about the picture on which Alexander smiles in the camera. The picture is taken in the green and the son of Carl Philip wears a casual white sweater. In the article, the couple also announced: “We would also like to wish everyone a happy Easter.”
Fourth recently
The family of Carl Philip and his wife also include sons Prince Gabriel (7) and Prince Julian, who turned four on March 26. The brothers recently welcomed another sibling: Ines is the fourth child of the royal couple and the only daughter. It came to the world on February 7, 2025 in the Danderyds Hospital.
Ines will be baptized on June 13, 2025. For the Swedish Royal couple, this day is twice significant – it is also his tenth wedding day. On June 13, 2015, Carl Philip, the younger brother of Crown Princess Victoria (47), married his Sofia.
