Judith Williams raves about the “dream ship” shoot in an interview and reveals why her whole family comes together for charisma.

The well-known TV investor from “The Löwen cave” (VOX), Judith Williams (53), plays in the latest “dream ship” episode (ZDF) “Miami”. This fulfills a long -cherished dream for the entrepreneur, as she reports in an interview with Spot on News. “This is the seven in the lottery to be able to participate in the ‘dream ship’. Honestly, what else should come afterwards?”, Enthuses Williams. “My family and I are absolute ‘dream ship’ fans”, the enthusiasm is clearly noticeable.

She explains the fascination with the “distant countries and beautiful pictures”. They also find it pleasant that there is no violence. “You don’t have to be afraid if you have small children that they see things that don’t go. Instead, you can simply let your mind wander,” said Williams. It is simply “perfect world”.

From the negotiating table to drama

Williams was not difficult to switch from the TV studio with hard investment decisions to the film set. “Since I come from a very artistic family – my aunt was an actress, my mother studied acting and I also did actual training at the time as part of my artistic vocal training – it is a bit the way to dive into my past world,” she explains. On the other hand, “entrepreneurial negotiations are sometimes like a spectacle,” she adds with a wink.

Learning text was not a big challenge for the disciplined entrepreneur: “Firstly, I am someone who always likes to learn everything by heart. I am not free if I have not prepared myself perfectly.” She also received support from her husband, the actor Alexander -Klaus Stecher (57, “Rosamunde Pilcher”) – “he knows how it works”.

Well -coordinated team in front of and behind the camera

Williams is particularly impressed by the family atmosphere on the set. “The warmth and relaxation of Daniel Morgenroth and Florian Silbereisen is incredible, although there are two really big stars,” she says of her main game partners. “It’s really like a family, one stands for the other.”

The filming became a all-round experience for Williams, even after the shooting: “We played cards, watched football, breakfast together and danced, danced … it was really wonderful.” The musical talent of Daniel Morgenroth, who gave a benefit concert on board, also impressed the entrepreneur. “He plays perfectly ukulele,” she enthuses.

Big family reunion to the TV event

Williams already has big plans for the broadcast of the “dream ship” episode. “My sister comes from America with her whole family and we will sit at home and look at the whole thing together,” she reveals. “With the whole family, all children. I think we are now even 20 to 25 people.” The relatives from the United States actually only wanted to arrive on Easter Monday, but have now planned: “They have come before so that we can prepare everything.”

Speaking of family: Judith Williams plays Julia Grimm, the sister of the staff captain Martin Grimm (Daniel Morgenroth) and mother of Lena (Mia Kasalo). After a dispute between mother and daughter, the family situation becomes complicated – a topic that the mother of two daughters can understand. “I think all mothers who see this role can make up that as a mother you always want to protect your child somehow,” explains Williams. “At some point, however, you have to admit yourself: every child goes their own way and that’s a good thing.”

Personal connection to Miami

The “dream ship” destination Miami has a special meaning for Williams. “We have been on vacation with our children and family several times in Florida and of course Miami. But when I grew up, my parents didn’t have the time and not the money to go on vacation with us,” she recalls. “I was on vacation with my parents once, it was on the Baltic Sea.” You probably love the “dream ship” so much. One of her first her own vacations then led her to Miami – a city that she still inspires: “This colorful in Miami, the music, the Cuban influence, that’s fantastic.”

When asked about further acting roles, in view of the family connection of her role, Williams showed a permanent crew member: “If the ‘dream ship’ calls again, then I’m almost on the ship. You don’t have to ask myself for long.” With a wink, she adds: “I will order it from the loved one.”

The “dream ship” episode with Judith Williams as Julia Grimm runs on Easter Sunday, April 20, at 8:15 p.m. on ZDF.
