With a good mood and idiosyncratic style, Palina Rojinski made it to the top in German show business. On April 21, it will be 40.
Around 15 years ago, Palina Rojinski (40) was catapulted from the Berlin party scene to the media circus. In the meantime, the former funky IT girl has developed into a permanent institution in the German television and celebrity landscape. Your job: bring more color and good mood to the booth.
Palina Rojinski fights through
Palina Rojinski was born on April 21, 1985 in Saint Petersburg, Russia, which was still called Leningrad at the time. At the age of five, she moved to the Federal Republic of Germany with her parents in 1991. As she reported to the “Tagesspiegel” a few years ago, she learned as a little girl to box through her hard reality with self -confidence: “At school, Turkish and Arab boys called me ‘foreign pig’ and threw a sponge to my head,” said today’s moderator, actress and influencer. “My father taught me how to annoy them. ‘In the liver,’ he said.”
Also away from the schoolyard, she learned early on to fight her way with a lot of discipline and talent. Since she was four years old, she has been running competitive sports in the field of rhythmic gymnastics and made it to the German champion of the juniors twice in the new home. With 14, knee problems then thwarted another sports career, but dancing has always remained closely connected in different ways.
Shortly before her 40th birthday, Rojinski of the digital marketing gurus Philipp Westermeyer (46) had her dazzling media career reviewed once again. After graduating from high school, she had enrolled the form at the Berlin Humboldt University of History and Literature for the sake of Berlin, but was extremely active, especially in nightlife. She quickly understood how the party fun could be combined with earning money.
“Barbarella meets Run DMC in Paris”
For some time, she tingled as an ambassador for a well -known spirits brand by the German clubs, equipped with a branded car, costly wardrobe and a well -filled spank account. In addition, she climbed into the ring as a DJane under the artist name Palina Power. As Rojinski reports, she was already known “like a colorful dog”, which was also due to her extraordinary style of clothing, which she describes as “Barbarella meets Run DMC in Paris”.
In 2009 she finally gave up her studies after the broadcaster MTV offered her a job as a sidekick in the new show of the then largely unknown moderator duo Joko and Klaas. In the anarcho TV show “MTV Home”, the tough Palina clearly took over the section “99 things a man should have done”, died out from the 10-meter board or ignited her for the camera. On the side of the two young stars, she also completed a breathtaking media career in the years.
After the end of “MTV Home”, she moved to Zdfneo with Joko and Klaas in 2011 to participate in the successor “Neoparadise” before the show finally switched to ProSieben under the new name “Circus Halligalli”. She also started solo as a moderator on Viva, where she moderated the “Viva Top 100”. In 2012 she also received her own show with “Zirkus Rojinksi”, which was not a long life.
Successful on TV and cinema
In between, Rojinki also took acting roles, such as in 2009 in the film “Men’s hearts” by director Simon Verhoeven, 2011 in the comedy “Rubbeldiekatz” or 2015 in “Dream Frauen”. In addition, she made a name for herself without her old friends Joko and Klaas on TV, sitting in the jury from 2013 to 2015 in the dance show “Got to Dance” or moderating the hidden camera format “The Big Surprise-Your Beautst Short”. She is currently earning her money as a juror at “The Masked Singer”.
But the busy IT girl is also extremely active apart from the television cameras and demonstrates its pronounced talents as a businesswoman. As a celebrity, it functions, among other things, as a campaign face for the model labels Calzedonia and Triumph, and she also uses her red hair splendor as an advertising view for the Pantene Pro V brand.
