Together they recorded hits like “School’s Out”, but then it was over. 51 years after her separation, Alice Cooper and his band are now releasing a new album.
Rock musician Alice Cooper recorded a new album with his old bandmates around 50 years after his band was dissolved. In 1973 the group released the “Muscle of Love” record under the name Alice Cooper – a year later it was over. The new album “The Revenge of Alice Cooper” is to be released in July, as the 77-year-old reveals to the US industry leaf “Billboard”. “Isn’t that funny after 50 years? Suddenly everything fits together.”
According to the report, guitarist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway and Drummer Neal Smith, are said to be involved in the album. Guitarist Glen Buxton died in 1997 at the age of 49, but should also be heard. One of the new songs is based on a guitar reef Buxteon. The “Return of the Spiders 2025” bonus track is a remix of a piece from the second album of the band “Easy Action”.
Together, the band recorded hits such as “School’s Out” and “No more Mr. Nice Guy”. “There was no trouble, no evil blood – at least not very long,” said Cooper, who continued alone after the separation.
