Hilary Swank about motherhood with 48: “I’m much more patient”

The actress only got twins late. In an interview, she tells what advantages she sees in it and what helped her only get children in old age.

Actress Hilary Swank can get something from her late motherhood – she had received twins at the age of 48. As a mother, she was very different than she would have been in her early 40s, the 50-year-old told the British magazine “Women’s Health”. “I am much more patient. I am much more understanding.”

She is probably much more interested in a certain way, is very interested in the brains of her children. She was fascinated by how they ticked. Because she has already made a career, she wasn’t split like that, said the Oscar winner. She could fully get involved with her children.

Swank (“Boys Don’t Cry”, “Million Dollar Baby”) had received twins two years ago. In the months before, the US actress had often posted photos of her increasingly round belly. According to the magazine “Women’s Health”, she had freezing egg cells.

“Fortunately, I had the opportunity to have egg cells freezed for later,” Swank was quoted. That took some pressure, even if it was not a guarantee of a later motherhood. She could have received children earlier, but the later time was correct for various reasons. Swank has been married to the entrepreneur Philip Schneider since 2018.
