In July last year, Tina Knowles was completely caught when the doctors discovered cancer in stage 1 in their left breast. Tina Knowles underwent an operation at the end of last year to remove the tumor and a breast reduction. “I’m great,” she says today. “I am blessed and incredibly blessed that God allowed me to discover the tumor early.” But she could have prevented cancer growth in stage 1. “I didn’t know that there was a stage 0. I could have recognized it at stage 0 if I hadn’t missed my mammography.”

It was still a shock for the famous family. Beyoncé, Knowles writes, “took it well, remained positive, and I could already feel how her mind raced and she focused on this task that she had to approach with precision.” To protect her daughter, she emphasizes further speculation that no breast cancer genes have been found and that there is no history in her family for this disease.
