Prince Louis, the youngest son of William and Kate, likes to give the family’s cheeky roof. On April 23, he will be seven years old. Does he celebrate in his playhouse?
It was seven years ago that the palace in London announced: Prince William and his wife Kate have become parents for the third time! Her son Louis Arthur Charles was born on April 23, 2018 in St. Mary’s Hospital in London. The little one quickly developed into a family kasper, liked to stretch out his tongue in photos or hunted around on his mother’s lap as if the dance floor was. The British love him for it: where Louis is, there is a good mood!
There are ten things for his birthday here that you probably didn’t know from the prince.
1. The godfather
Guy Pelly, an old friend of William and Harry, belongs to Louis’ godfather. For a long time he was considered a bad influence on the prince: he made Harry known with marijuana and accompanied him when he appeared in 2005 in the Nazi costume for a party. Pelly is now married, father and very nice.
2. Breakfast
For breakfast, Louis likes to eat cereal and an apple. He likes fruit and vegetables – especially beetroot, his absolute favorite food, planted Kate with the children in the home garden.
3. The nickname
Louis is called Lou Lou by his siblings. The three royal children should grow up as normal as possible. Every now and then there is an official appearance with the parents and a photo like here for Prince William’s 42nd birthday last year – but mostly George, Charlotte and Louis have their peace. They live in the Adelaide cottage at Windsor Castle.
4. The grandpa

Louis is particularly intimate with his grandpa Charles, who posted this photo of himself and the grandson on Instagram. When Louis could not sit still at the parade for the 70th anniversary of the queen in the stands, it was Charles who took him to the lap – and brought to rest.
5. The TV cook
One of the first words that Louis could say was “Mary” -Because of the popular British TV cook Mary Berry: “Because exactly at its height, all of my cookbooks are on the kitchen shelf”said his mother Kate, who worshiped Berry.
6. The playhouse
Louis’ favorite place on the site of Windsor Castle is this playhouse. As a young princess (here 1933), the Queen was given it from the Welsh. It has running water, electricity, a real kitchen, a bathroom, a living room and a bedroom.
7. The sports cannon
Louis is very sporty and moved. Hardly anyone could follow him on his impeller, it was similar when he got his first bike. Like his siblings, he plays tennis – and that “enthusiastic”so his mother.
8. The model
The little prince is named after Lord Louis Mountbatten: as the uncle of Prince Philip, the admiral went in and out of the windsors. Mountbatten was the mentor of King Charles before he was the victim of an IRA’s bombing attack in 1979.
9. The private school
A day before the Queen died on September 8, 2022, the children of William and Kate were enrolled in the Lambrook School, a private school near Windsor. The fees for all three are currently the equivalent of 29,500 euros, with Louis’ visiting the second class with around 7,300 euros.
10. The gift
Louis received this valuable gift from his uncle Prince Harry – a first edition of the children’s book classic “Winnie the Pooh” ((“PU der Bär”) that Harry cost around 9100 euros.
