They loved and they separated: The relationship between Bettina and Christian Wulff
The Wulffs have separated. Again. The private life of the former Federal President and his wife has made a lot of headlines in recent years.
This time it is forever. At least that’s how the message that Christian Wulff’s Berlin office has published. “At your request, I would be happy to inform you that Bettina Wulff and Federal President Ad Christian Wulff finally separated a long time ago,” says the note. Not only politically, Wulff kept the country in suspense, with a supposed corruption affair and its resulting resignation as Federal President – after only 598 days in office.
The CDU politician and his wife Bettina Wulff also have made numerous headlines in recent years. Her love began in 2006, and the first separation followed seven years later. In 2015 the couple found each other again – including church wedding. The marriage lasted almost three years. In 2018, the Wulffs went their separate ways again, divorced – and married for the third time in 2023. Now you have “finally separated”. A fourth wedding seems to be excluded. Or?
