In New York, Duchess Meghan chatted out of the sewing box. It was about her children and her husband. And then Meghan revealed how things go with her Netflix series.
Duchess Meghan gave a rare insight into her private life at a performance in New York. The 43-year-old took part in the “Time100 Summit” on Wednesday and spoke to “Time” CEO Jessica Sibley about her current projects and family happiness.
“A ‘confession’ that I can share with you today is that I am more happy than ever before,” said the Duchess on stage. “Having a husband and partner who is so supportive, and children who are healthy and happy – I could never have imagined that I would feel so happy and grateful at this point, and I really do that.”
In conversation, Meghan also chatted about a special moment in the life of her five -year -old son. “Archie will lose his first tooth this week and I hope to come home in time!”, The mother revealed. Together with daughter Lilibet, 3, and husband Prince Harry, 40, she lives in Montecito, California.
Netflix series from Duchess Meghan gets a second season
When asked why she did not shot her current Netflix series “With Love, Meghan” in her own home, Duchess replied pragmatically: “At this show there are 80 people in the team.” Why didn’t you turn the show in your house? ‘ I said, ‘My children come home for their nap.’ 80 people in the kitchen are not really the childhood memory that I would like to give you. “
In addition to the Netflix series, which receives a second season, and her podcast “Confessions of a Female Founder” recently launched her lifestyle brand “As ever” with a first collection of eight products that were sold out within a very short time. “After a year of work, development and production, we had the feeling that there would be some hype about it, but there was nothing 45 minutes with which I would have expected,” she commented on the success at the “Time100 Summit”. In an Instagram contribution, she announced after the sale of her products: “Our shelves may be empty, but my heart is full! We were sold out in less than an hour and I can’t thank you enough for celebrations, buy, share and believe. This is only the beginning, ‘As ever’. Let’s go!”
Husband Prince Harry accompanied his wife to the event in New York. He was wearing a dark blue suit with a white shirt. Meghan chose a beige linen blazer and a suitable pants with a wide leg, plus a white shirt and pointed pumps. The duo showed itself as a solid unit: the few hands can be seen in front of the Lincoln Center event location.
