Ex-supermodel Linda Evangelista reports that she still has to struggle with the consequences of a failed beauty intervention. With her breast removal, she made her peace.
Ex-top model Linda Evangelista cannot view yourself in the mirror. She no longer beared it to look at herself “because I didn’t love myself, didn’t even like,” said the 59-year-old in an interview with the fashion magazine “Harper’s Bazaar”. “I do therapy to like what I see in the mirror.”
The background is a failed cosmetic intervention a few years ago, which Evangelista himself made public. The procedure should reduce fat cells in your body, but instead the opposite happened. At that time she reported that despite two correction operations, she was “permanently deformed” and “not recognizable”.
Linda Evangelista: “I won. I’m still here”
On the other hand, she found her peace with the removal of her breasts after a cancer diagnosis a few years ago. “I have no problem with my double mastectomy,” emphasizes the model. She had implants inserted, but also scars on her body of other operations that she had behind, for example on the lungs. “I had a lot of operations. I have no problem with it. I won. I’m still here.”

Now the 59-year-old wants to work to “get to a point where I like myself with all my mistakes”. Aging in the process, does not scare her: “I don’t care how I older. I just want to age.” She was not ready to die – “I want to do so much”.
The Canadian was one of the most successful and famous top models in the world, especially in the 80s and 90s.
