Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! Björn Ulvaeus still likes sex in old age
80 is the new 50 – at least that’s what Abbas Björn Ulvaeus seems to keep. Even if he has now reached this high life, the singer apparently still enjoys his love life.
Björn Ulvaeus, member of the Swedish pop group Abba, celebrates his 80th birthday on April 25 – and looks back on a life full of successes and great personal changes. Something has also changed in bed over the years and not only through a new wife.
The musician was married three times. He entered his first marriage in 1971 with bandmate Agnetha Fältskog. The couple got two children, but separated in 1979 at the height of the ABBA successes. In the same year, Ulvaeus met his second wife Lena Källersjö, a music journalist. The two married in 1981 and received two daughters. They were considered a stable couple for over four decades, lived withdrawn, including on an island in Djursholm near Stockholm.
In 2022, Björn and Lena announced their separation. In a joint explanation it said: “After many wonderful and eventful years we decided to go separate ways. We remain close friends and will continue to celebrate the birthdays of our grandchildren and other family celebrations together.”

Just a few months earlier, Ulvaeus spoke about his private life in an interview with the “Guardian”. When asked about his sex life, he replied: “I am 75 and do not create more than four times a week.” In the same conversation, he also called his most annoying quality: “If you ask my wife, she would probably say that it is my habit to run around in the bathrobe all day during our Corona self-insulation.”
It has not been clarified whether that was the reasons for separation or, as he says, an incredible attraction when he saw his third wife of Christina Sas in 2021. SAS is a 28 -year -old manager from the music industry, which he is said to have met as part of the album releases “Voyage”, while he was married to Lena Källersjö. SAS and Ulvaeus made their relationship public in 2022, followed by the wedding in 2023.
Actually, Abbas Björn Ulvaeus was almost never single. From 80 years of life, he was more or less continuous and sometimes women overlapping from 1971 until now, i.e. 54 years.
