After years of strict nutrition, Gwyneth Paltrow is more enjoyable: it now allows itself to be pasta and cheese on the menu.
Gwyneth Paltrow (52) leaves a strict paleo diet behind and wants to turn to more enjoyment again. The actress spoke openly about her eating habits and her departure from overly rigid diet rules. “I return to consume sourdough bread and some cheese,” she said in it.
Paltrow and her husband Brad Falchuk (54) have been holding the so-called Paleo diet for “a few years”. This way of life is based on the suspected diet of people in the old -style: it mainly includes fruit, vegetables, lean meat, fish, eggs, nuts and seeds, while cereals, milk products and processed foods are avoided. “If I’m honest, I am a bit bored,” Paltrow confessed – after she was too “strict” to herself for so long, she wanted to eat “a little pasta” again.
Betrayed in strict diet
The Oscar winner stated that at a time she had been in her life in her life in a tough lifestyle. This phase fell with her father Bruce Paltrow’s disease, which died in 2002 after a long fight against larynx cancer. Paltrow confessed: “I think I really tried to heal my father on behalf of it.” She was “really intoxicated” by the idea of influencing her health through a balanced diet.
In the meantime, the 52-year-old seems to have found a different access to nutrition. Despite her new looseness, Paltrow emphasizes that it continues to pay attention to a nutrition with “full and fresh” foods. This helps her fight “long -term inflammation”.
Criticism about previous nutritional statements
Gwyneth Paltrow’s diet has always been criticized in the past. A podcast appearance in March 2023 particularly caused a sensation in which she opened her daily meal plan, which included bone broth for lunch and dishes from vegetables for dinner.
This very reduced menu was sharply condemned by numerous critics, including prominent personalities such as the model Tess Holliday (39). She accused Paltrow of normalizing malnutrition, which she described as “more than dangerous”. Nutrition experts also spoke up and emphasized that this was “not enough food” for a 1.75 meter tall person. In response to the criticism, Paltrow made it clear that her diet was discussed with a doctor and had “very positive” on her well -being.
