Virginia Giuffre: Prince Andrew’s prosecutor found dead

Virginia Giuffre, who became known as the main clerk in the Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew case, died at the age of only 41. , Giuffre took life last Thursday (April 24) in her house in Neergabby, Australia.

“Virginia lost her life through suicide after being a victim of sexual abuse and human trafficking for a lifetime,” says her family’s explanation. The Western Australia Police Force confirmed to the magazine that emergency services were called to a residential building and found an unappealing 41-year-old woman who was still declared dead at the scene.

Giuffre had developed into one of the most famous activists against sexual abuse in recent years. Her family praised her as “a bitter fighter in the fight against sexual abuse and human trafficking” and as “the light that has erected so many survivors”.

In 2000, Ghislaine Maxwell’s 16-year-old was recruited by Ghislaine to work for Jeffrey Epstein. She later stated that the couple had manipulated and forced her to have sex with Epstein and others as part of a sophisticated abuse ring from which she could escape in 2002. Epstein committed suicide in a New York prison in August 2019 while waiting for his process for sex trade with minors.

Giuffre also received worldwide attention against Prince Andrew. In 2021 she filed a lawsuit against the British Royal, in which she claimed that he had forced her three times for sex between 1999 and 2002 – in London, New York and on Epstein’s private island in the Caribbean. Prince Andrew always vehemently denied the allegations.

In an earlier statement, Giuffre said: “I consider Prince Andrew to be responsible for what he did to me. The powerful and rich are not excluded from being held accountable for their actions.” In February 2022, both parties agreed in an extrajudicial comparison, the sum of which was not announced.

According to her personal story of suffering, Giuffre found the organization “Speak Out, Act, Reclaim” (soar), a non -profit initiative that offers support for survivors of sexual abuse. Her lawyer Sigrid McCawley praised her as “a dear friend and an incredible pioneer for other victims”. She added: “Her courage drove me to fight harder, and her strength was impressive. The world has lost an amazing person today.”
