Many royals come to the Pope’s funeral service. A heir to the throne is right next to Olaf Scholz.
The British heir to the throne Prince William has come to the Pope mourning celebration. The 42-year-old lined up among the funeral guests on St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican. In addition to the executive Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD), he took a seat.
Princess Kate was not there. She was also not on the official list of funeral guests.
Royals from several countries could be seen at the funeral service. Among them were King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden as well as Norway’s crown prince couple Haakon and Mette-Marit.
