King Willem-Alexander and his family celebrated the royal day in stylish outfits.
On the occasion of the 58th birthday (April 27) by King Willem-Alexander, the Dutch Monarch, together with his wife Máxima and the two older daughters, crown princess Amalia and Princess Alexia, visited the municipality of Doetinchem in the Dutch province of Gelderland on Saturday. It is not known why Nesthäkchen Ariane was not there.
Stylish appearance of the royal family
“The king and his family are on the way to the center of Doetinchem, where they will meet the many personalities of the city and the region”. The top styled family can be seen in front of an outdoor entrance. While the king still wears a classic dark blue suit with a light blue tie, his three women trump up:
Máxima wears an unusually cut dress with ankle -length plate skirt, plus scarf, gloves and fascinator – all also in dark blue. The heir to the throne takes up the bright blue of her father’s tie on her mini dress with cape sleeves. Alexia wears a well -cut black leather skirt and a black leather jacket over white shirt. She sets color accents with a handbag and straps in Bordeauxrot.
A happy festival
in which the four celebrated the music of a country band with the whole place. “The royal family, accompanied by mopeds and bicycles, reaches the starting point of the King Day in Doetinchem to the sounds of ‘Oerend Hard’,” says the accompanying text.
In contrast to most of the other European royal houses, the Dutch royal couple had not participated in the funeral of Pope Francis (1936-2025) due to the funeral. This also took place in Rome today.
