FC Liverpool has been happy to receive its 20th championship title since Sunday. Right in the middle of the fan cheering on site: Dead Pants Frontmann Campino.
Big cheers on the Angeld Road: FC Liverpool secured the championship title in the Premier League on Sunday evening. The 20th championship of the English club led to cheering storms at the fans – and not only where the club anthem “You’ll never walk alone” was tuned off. The joy was also great outside the stadium. In the middle of the fans: Die-Toten-Hosen-Frontmann Campino (62).
Enthusiastic selfie with fan scarf
“Albert Pub, Liverpool: Title number 20 is celebrated,” he wrote to his band and posted a selfie from the fan pub, which is not far from the stadium. On the snapshot, Campino – the German -British musician is considered a Liverpool superfan and is often at the games on site – obviously a jubilee cry and holds a red scarf of his club in his hand. In the background you can see many fans and the blanket of the pub decorated with scarves.
After the 5: 1 against Tottenham Hotspur and the premature championship, the fans also celebrated on the city’s streets. Campino could not miss this either. “Champions”, he calls loudly into the camera in an Instagram story. Fans can be seen around him who celebrate with flags, red smoke and pyro.
