The human rights lawyer Amal Clooney (47) could soon face a serious personal problem: an entry ban to the USA, where she lives with her husband George Clooney (63) and the common twins.
Donald Trump takes action against criminal court
As the British “Financial Times” reports, the British Foreign Ministry has warned several high-ranking lawyers that they have to expect sanctions by the Trump administration if they were involved in the procedure of the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (75) and the former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant (66).
US President Donald Trump (78) signed a implementing regulations in February that provides for financial punishments and visa cuts against ISGH employees and their family members. The reason for this was the arrest warrants against Netanyahu and Gallant issued by the International Criminal Court, which Trump described as “groundless”.

It was invited by the ICC to join an expert body that should evaluate evidence of alleged war crimes in Israel and Gaza. The committee unanimously came to the conclusion that the ICC has the responsibility for the crimes committed as part of the Israel Hamas War. In November 2024, arrest warrants were finally issued against Netanyahu and Gallant.
Neither the White House nor representatives of Clooney responded to the report on inquiries from the “New York Post”.
