Spend their last day in Scotland so touchingly
William and Kate visibly have fun on their last day on the Scottish island – and devoted themselves to an important topic, especially for Kate.
A day after her 14th wedding anniversary, Prince William and Princess Kate continued their two -day visit to the Scottish island of Mull. In the Ardura Community Forest, a nature reserve that is important for the biodiversity of the island, the focus was on a topic on Wednesday, which is particularly important to the princess: the healing power of nature.
In the picturesque forest landscape, the royal couple met preschool children who use the forest as a classroom as part of an outdoor learning program. Under the thick leaf roof and next to a rippling stream, Kate took a lot of time for the small participants.
“Together with the Mull and Iona Ranger Service and young natural researchers, we spent time in the Ardura Community Forest,” says the royal couple. In doing so, the two want to “memorize the importance of environmental protection and the role that plays the learning outdoors in creating solidarity and care for nature”.

Kate in particular delighted the little nature lovers during her visit. , about four-year-old Rosie-Mae was completely enchanted. “As soon as Kate came down, I felt like Rosie seized my arm and said: ‘She is here, a real princess,” said her mother Sally. The self -confident girl led the princess to the river, where she threw sticks into the water together.
For the princess, who has gradually returned to public appearances since her diagnosis of cancer in March 2024, this part of the visit is of particular importance. In the past few months she repeatedly spoke about how much the stay in nature helped her during her treatment.
Pictures of their trip to the countryside not only show Kate when playing with the children, but also Prince William in a happy exchange with those present. The couple showed themselves casually dressed, Kate was wearing a sporty blazer, including a dark green sweater and a white shirt and combined black jeans with boots. William chose a dark sweater, a light blue shirt and a navy blue pants.

The couple arrived on the Isle of Mull on Tuesday, took part in a public appointment in Tobermory and celebrated the 14th wedding anniversary. Kate married the British heir to the throne on April 29, 2011 in the Westminster Abbey in London. Three children then crowned their great love. The past year became a special challenge for the family through Kate’s cancer.
