“Love all of my children”: Robert de Niro is involved in his trans daughter

In a striking as well as loving statement, Hollywood star Robert de Niro (81) took the fact that one of his children has outed it as a trans. It says on the part of the two -time Oscar winner: “I loved and supported Aaron as my son, and now I love and support Airyn as my daughter. I don’t know what the problem is. I love all of my children.”

The actress said shortly before that she decided in November last year to start hormone therapy. In it, she also explained that she was worried about her close relationships: part of her fear that her family is “perhaps still considering the person I was before the transition,” said the 29-year-old. In view of the supportive words of her father, this concern may have proven to be unfounded at least with regard to the “Taxi Driver” star.

In the interview, she had already found words of praise for her famous father and emphasized: “My father was very careful that we would find our own way.” She considers her to be unfair that tabloids still like to disparage as a “Nepo Baby”. She wants to be successful on her own and is “grateful that my two parents agreed to stay out of the spotlight,” she said about de Niro and her mother, Toukie Smith (72). “They told me that they wanted me to have a childhood as normal.”

Airyn de Niro, who works as an actress and model, has six siblings. A son and daughter come from the first marriage of Robert de Niro and the actress Diahnne Abbott. The couple divorced in 1988. After that, De Niro was in a relationship with the model Toukie Smith between 1988 and 1996, twins come from this relationship – Airyn still has a brother of the same age. In 1997 de Niro married the actress Grace Hightower, with whom he has a son and a daughter. After separating the couple, the Hollywood star was able to look forward to another child: in April 2023, daughter Gia was born, mother is the girlfriend of the actor, Tiffany Chen.
