With “Old Phone” and “Azizam” there are already two songs from the new record on the market with which sheeran wants to enter “New Musical Terrain”. The title is not a calculation operation this time.
Pop star Ed Sheeran (34) brings out his new album “Play” on September 12th. The British news agency PA reported.
On the record, both the recently presented song “Old Phone” and the hit “Azizam”, which is inspired by Persian music, should be heard. Sheeran wanted to enter the album “New Musical Terrain”, PA quoted from a message.
With the title “Play”, Sheeran also leaves his tradition of naming albums based on mathematical signs. His previous albums were only characterized by the symbols for addition, multiplication, division, result and subtraction.
However, he already announces a new series. The upcoming albums should therefore be called “Pause”, “Rewind”, “Fast Forward” and “Stop”, as he recently revealed in the US talk show “The Tonight Show”.
