Susan Sarandon can soon be seen in the Netflix film “Nonnas”. At the premiere in New York City, she became an eye -catcher in a red look.
Susan Sarandon (78) visited the premiere of the Netflix film “Nonnas” at the Plaza Hotel in New York City last Wednesday. The Oscar winner, who took on a leading role in the comedy, fashionably trumped the Cast present with a striking look.
Sarandon appeared in a bright red pants suit, to which she combined a light silk blouse and plateau lace-up shoes. She wore her shoulder -length hair open and put on another splash of color with a red lipstick. Vince Vaughn (55), Lorraine Bracco (70), Brenda Vaccaro (85) or Joe Manganiello (48), who also play in the comedy, also gathered on the green carpet.
“Nonnas”: That’s what it’s all about
When it comes to Joe (Vince Vaughn), who is looking for comfort and support after the death of his mother and grandmother in their old cooking recipes. With the money from his mother’s insurance and a little help from his friends, he opens the Italian restaurant “Enoteca Maria”, in which four grandmothers, ie “Nonnas”, work from different cities in Italy and share their dishes with the neighborhood.
The four nonnas are Roberta (Lorraine Bracco), Antonella (Brenda Vaccaro), Teresa (Talia Shire) and Gia (Susan Sarandon). Joe’s best friend Bruno is also at his side, he is played by Joe Manganiello. The film will be available on the streaming service from May 9th.
