Singer Kelsea Ballerini spoke for “The White Lotus”
With a guest appearance in a doctor series, singer Kelsea Ballerini has had initial experience as an actress. In another role, however, it was rejected.
Country singer Kelsea Ballerini wanted to play in the successful series “The White Lotus” – but was rejected. “I said for the second season of” The White Lotus “for the role of Jennifer Coolidges assistant,” said the 31-year-old to the portal “People”. However, actress Haley Lu Richardson got the role.
For Ballerini, the cancellation was not a problem: “I’m not ashamed.” At the same time, she praised Richardson for playing the role “so brilliant and beautiful”.
The acting is a new field for the one Grammy nominated singer. She made her debut in an episode of the “Doctor Odyssey” series last year. The 31-year-old said that the magazine “Women’s Health” said that the acting was one of the things “I thought: run towards the things that scare you”. And if it doesn’t work, “then I apply my glitter and go back to the stage. It will always be my home”.
