He takes it with humor: In the new Marvel film “Thunderbolts*”, David Harbour’s fat cushions are expressly desired-just like with “Stranger Things”, where he enjoys cult status as a robust pull.
According to his own words, Hollywood actor David Harbor has joined fate to play roles for strongly built men. For his new film “Thunderbolts*” he shouldn’t look “muscular and well-trained”, the 50-year-old told the US portal “Entertainment Tonight”. On the other hand, those responsible for the Marvel film were “very happy” when he used “donuts and things” at the snack table.
He simply came to his career with this idea, said Harbor. “You think you’re going to Hollywood and have to work so hard.” In fact, it is more said: “We need a thick guy, just get David Harbor, he already has the fat -handed stars,” he said.
The US actor plays the adoptive father of the contract killer Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) in “Thunderbolts*”. In the Netflix show “Stranger Things” he plays Sheriff Jim Hopper, who becomes a protagonist Eleven.
