The anticipation is increasing: stars like Anne Hathaway or Sabrina Carpenter celebrated at a pre-meter gala party at the weekend.
Before the legendary MET GALA takes place with its extravagant looks on Monday evening, the fashion elite met for warm-up shortly before: stars like Anne Hathaway (42) or Sabrina Carpenter (25) came together on Saturday at the Twenty Two Hotel in New York City.
Popstar Sabrina Carpenter pulled the eyes in a light blue glittering, skin -tight Maxikleid with a long leg slit, while actress Anne Hathaway appeared in the casual black suit and white shirt with great dark sunglasses. MET GALA under the motto “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”
This year’s Met Gala will take place on Monday evening in the Metropolitan Museum of Art under the topic “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”. The exhibition is inspired by Monica L. Miller’s book “Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity” and in particular highlights the influence of black dandies on the fashion world since the 18th century.
