Kim Kardashian should testify in Paris next week. According to her lawyers, she is ready to face the alleged attackers.
Since the end of April, the trial of ten defendants in Paris, who are said to have been involved in the robbery in Kim Kardashian (44) in 2016. The entrepreneur is scheduled to testify in court in the Palais de Justice in the French capital next week and will apparently appear personally.
As her French lawyers explained on Monday, Kardashian is ready to “face” their attackers. “She wants to do this with dignity and courage,” Léonor Hennerick and Jonathan Mattout are quoted. They represent Kardashian together with their US lawyer Michael Rhodes.
Kim Kardashian should testify to court on May 13th. She would talk about the events this terrible night “when she was robbed, tied up and captured in her hotel room during the Paris Fashion Week. In advance, however, the lawyers do not want to comment on the content of the upcoming statement so that “everyone can hear the events directly from their mouths” of their client.
Process should run by May 23
In the early morning hours of October 3, 2016, five masked perpetrators had entered the luxurious Hôtel de Pourtalès. With drawn pistols, they threatened the night porter and gained access to Kim Kardashian’s suite. The reality star was only overwhelmed, tied up and gagged in the bathrobe. The robbers captured their luxurious jewelry and fled on bicycles. The crucial tip that the American was alone in the hotel is said to have received the gang from her then French VIP supervisor and chauffeur.
The process is scheduled for three weeks and should run by May 23. The defendant, who are under the justice supervision at a budget, threaten prison terms of up to 20 years.
