Actress Vicky Krieps finds the topic of guilt overrated. She herself does not want to be plagued by feelings of guilt.
Actress Vicky Krieps has little to do with feelings of guilt. “I never feel guilty,” said the 41-year-old of the German Press Agency. “I think guilt is being overrated,” says the German-Luxemburg actress (“Ingeborg Bachmann-Journey into the desert”). Instead of being plagued by feelings of guilt, you can do completely different: “I think you should rather go outside and address a stranger instead of spending your time with guilt.”
Krieps is currently the top of the German Film Academy with the re -elected President Florian Gallenberger. The actress, who is traveling a lot internationally, believes that Germany could learn a lot from other film countries. “Especially about self -confidence.” It is about “becoming” aware “about what German cinema is, what makes it impress, who shapes it and how you can make it stronger and more conscious.”
