Anger, injury, jealousy: Brian Austin Green talks about the feelings that Megan Fox triggered in him when she gave up the marriage in 2020.
Almost four years after the official divorce of Brian Austin Green (51) and Megan Fox (38) in 2021, the “Beverly Hills, 90210” star explained why he was “destroyed” when the “Transformers” heroine initiated the separation.
The former serial swarm revealed how much he had broken his heart when the mother of his children, Noah (12), Bodhi (11) and Journey (8), in 2020 after ten years before the divorce had submitted. “I was destroyed,” he admitted in the current episode of the. “I honestly thought at this point: we got it out. We had been behind us for almost 15 years, so I believed in us and I think she did it back then.”
However, he understood that the actress, who was only 18 when she came together, had the feeling of “missing” something from life because she had plunged into the family construct too quickly. “It became overwhelming for them,” he recalled. “But I think when it became clear to her, she wanted to get out quickly, and it made it so difficult for me.” He understood her, but it would have made it no less difficult. “I understand it, I understand it – it feels like shit. It killed me, it came out of the blue.”
There were moments of jealousy
Green, who had with his fiancee, professional dancer Sharna Burgess (39), who had the son Zane (2) together, admitted that it was also difficult to see that his ex-wife had passed to rapper Machine Gun Kelly (35). The couple, who has been in a relationship since summer 2020 and separated in November 2024 during their pregnancy, became a daughter’s parents in March. “It went from ‘Hey, we should divorce’ to ‘hey, my soul mate’. (…) It is shit and really hard and I had moments of jealousy and all the normal things you go through.”
How did the 51-year-old survived this difficult time? “Time is the only thing it regulates”.
